This week at the Hub we have a huge variety of activities and events which offers something for everyone! Over the weekend we enjoyed Hans Camp, a fantastic residential event which saw musicians from across the UK gather for a series of drum workshops, led by some of the best teachers in the country.
This weekend we have Durham City Jugglers staying with us. They will enjoy our facilities as they take part in a weekend of workshops, skills training, entertainment and circus skills which culminates in an evening show at Teesdale school. This promises to be a fabulous weekend.
Throughout the week we have three different yoga classes; tai chi; kickboxing; BMX cycling with British Cycling; various disciplines and grades of dancing; canoeing and high ropes with Acklam Grange school; craft sessions; flower craft; Cream Tees folk group; the wonderful ‘Games for the Brain’ sessions with the Alzheimer’s Society, various meetings taking place and, as always, our music studios are busy with lesson and practice bookings.
With a vibrant atmosphere the Hub offers a venue for all occasions. Students relaxing between school and their dance or music activity enjoy the table football just as earlier in the day attendees at the Alzheimer’s Society, Games for the Brain class, enjoyed it!
The Hub offers wonderful facilities for the residents of Teesdale. If you have never been, pop down. Have a walk around the custom built lake, sit and relax in the Atrium with a coffee and who knows…you might be tempted to book up and try a new class or activity! Check out our calendar for details of events and timings.
