As part of our “Spring into Summer” programme, we are busy preparing for the Teesdale Book Bazaar on Saturday 27 April from 12 to 4pm. Grab the opportunity to browse through a great selection of new and second hand books as well as restocking your stationery supplies. Stalls include Hand-made books by Holly from Things of Wonder, pre-loved books from Teesdale Cancer Research and Yarntopia, yarn and wool crafting demonstrations.
There is also a fantastic children’s storyteller in the Dance studio and book related craft activities for your little ones. There will be live acoustic music from local musicians throughout the afternoon.
You will be able to sample delicious Street Food, from Tzatziki and Halloumi fries to Falafel wraps and Korean chicken. Author Marilyn Parkes-Seddon will be available to sign copies of her recently-published novel The Jonquil, a tale of love and loss set on Alderney in the Channel Islands.
Entry is free to the public from 12 pm and promises to be a great afternoon for lovers of books and food alike!
