TCR Gardening Club for Parents, Carers & Grandparents

Join gardener Suzanne Thomas to enjoy learning how to grow your own food in the Heritage Garden at TCR Hub. The goal of these sessions is to support adults to spend time outside gardening, nurturing your well-being.
Working alongside Suzanne Thomas, participants will be supported to find gentle methods to grow our plants so that we don’t disturb nature but work with it. It’s a hidden metaphor for being kind to yourself too. If folk can nurture plants then they can both look after the planet and indeed themselves.
As parents and grandparents we are so used to putting others first so do take this chance to nurture yourselves too. Gardening is mindful by nature so we will tap into that as a by product of what we do. The herb garden means there’s no kneeling or digging. You can spend the whole session reading gardening books in the summerhouse if that’s what you need.
There are eight sessions in this series and limited spaces so please book your place to take part in this nurturing course in the garden at TCR Hub.
The National Lottery Community Fund thank you for your support!
