Earlier this week we welcomed members of the Barnard Castle Rotary Club to the Hub for a tour of the Veg Out People’s Garden and the Hub building and a buffet provided by our Hub Kitchen. We catered for over 30 Rotarians who enjoyed a buffet of meats and salads, with plenty of produce taken from Veg Out. Everyone was treated to a tour of the Garden, with those who preferred to stay indoors being given a live tour via video link from our Deputy Manager Laura Carrick. The group also heard presentations from Veg Out and the Alzheimer’s Society. Once the buffet had been served Laura gave a tour of the building, with which many members were impressed with and commented on the quality of the facilities available. Feedback from the group was very positive and we look forward to seeing members down here again.
