Thank you for visiting the TCR Hub website. We are delighted to be able to deliver a range of services, resources and opportunities for people from across Teesdale and the wider region during this difficult period of time. Within this page we aim to share the services we are providing to support our community whilst restrictions are still in place across the UK and locally.

Our Current Projects
Care Packages
With the help of our wonderful volunteers we deliver to 90 households every week. If you are in need of a care package or know someone who is please contact us on 07415167940.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
We have a long history of delivering the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and are delighted to be able, once again, to enable young people to take part.
Coronavirus Support
We know that the pandemic has affected people in many different ways and that many of you are in a different position mentally, physically and financially to where you were in early 2020. We are currently delivering a range of projects that offer support and opportunities in this most difficult time. Our Food Provision offers free food packages, delivered by our volunteers, to your door once a week. The packages are aimed as a compliment to your existing food items and contain a mix of fresh and long life items. We also offer a paid for hot meal delivery service for Over 50s, a Waste Not Bag delivery service which contains surplus supermarket items and Seasonal Special care packages. Although we can’t support everyone in person we can signpost you to places who can offer you dedicated and professional support and guidance when you need it. We have listed some highly recommended contacts below.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
For support with your mental health and wellbeing you can contact Samaritans on 116123, Mind on 0300 123 3393 or Crisis by texting SHOUT to 85258.
Domestic Abuse
We know that instances of Domestic Abuse have increased during the pandemic. If you or anyone you know feel threatened or in danger from a partner or family member or close friend you can contact Refuge on 0808 200 0247 or Harbour support services on 03000 20 25 25.
Finances
Many people have been put under extra financial strain and you may have found yourself getting into debt. If you need advice and support about debt you can contact Stepchange on 0800 138 1111 or go to their website stepchange.org.
Citizen's Advice
Our local Citizen’s Advice Office, based in Middleton in Teesdale is still able to offer support via email or telephone. You can contact them at outreach@citizensadvice.org.uk and 07384 575089.
Upper Teesdale
UTASS offer a wide range of support for those living in the Upper Teesdale and Weardale area, including support with personal and business finances, mental health and wellbeing and food provision. You can contact them on 01833 641010 or 07917 304 685.
Food Bank St. Helen Auckland
You may find that you are struggling to access good quality and nutritious food for you and your family. As well as our own care packages, available to anyone currently affected by the Covid 19 lockdown restrictions, you can contact other local organisations.

Food Bank Barnard Castle
You can also contact our local food bank, based at the Influence Church in Barnard Castle, Storehouse is open for weekly food collections. You can find out when at www.influencechurch.co.uk/storehouse
