Lots to enjoy at TCR this term

Sometimes, people walk into our building and say, ‘It’s quiet here.. what a shame there isn’t much going on in such an amazing building.” As a staff team, we sometimes have to bite our tongues because, though  it isn’t always obvious, there is a huge amount happening every week! So, here is a demonstration of that… your weekly timetable of events and activities at TCR Hub.

• Dance classes throughout the week – see Melanie Edmenson’s School of Dance. Includes Seated Ballet @1.30 – 2.15pm on Tues

• Making Memories – a group run by local volunteers, who are experienced and trained to work with people living with dementia. Mon @  2 – 3.30pm

• Taekwondo Mon & Weds @ 5.30 – 7.30pm (see Chungdokwantkd)

• TCR Children’s Gardening Club Mon @ 4 – 5pm – currently full!

• Pottery Mon Young People’s group 4 – 8pm as well as Teesdale Thurs @ 6 – 9pm with Lindsey Starborn

• Zine Creatives Tues @ 3.30 – 5pm

• Family Social Club Tues @ 4 – 7pm

• Tea and Tots Wed @ 12 – 3pm

• Outdoor Activity Club Weds @ 5 – 6pm

• Empowher – sessions set up in response to the worrying low levels of wellbeing amongst women and girls for 14 years plus.Weds @3.30 – 4.30pm

• Pilates Thurs @ 9 – 11am

• Now project “Art sessions”: Thurs @1pm – 3pm

• Cream Tees Youth Folk Band, Thurs @ 4:30 – 5:30pm

• Pimms and Needles monthly first Thurs @7 – 9pm

• Over 50’s Martial Art Fri @ 9.30 – 10.30am

• Community Connector – Walking Football: Fridays 11am – 12pm.

• Happiness Hub, Fridays @ 11:30am – 1:30pm

• Designing New Futures Futures  Fri @ 3.30 – 4.30pm

• Teesdale Care Packages Sat @ 9 – 10.30am (and whenever needed!)

We also have lots going on over the weekends too with residentials, private bookings, other happenings… lots of the time! And, of course, in the holidays, we have lots of fun filled activities and happenings planned.
