Live Like an Egyptian!

In the latest installment of the awesome Street Museum project, TCR Hub are delighted to bring you and the family the chance to Live Like an Eypytian for the day! This unique historic adventure day for families will explore ancient Egypt, thanks to our partners the Oriental Museum in Durham as well as artists, outdoor activities and crafts. Learn about real Ancient Egyptian objects - meet the historians who can bring these to life! Be part of an Ancient Egyptian ceremony, bringing history to life. Join the cast of the weighing of the hearts ceremony the final judgment in the underworld to determine a soul's worthiness for the afterlife. Create your own 'ancient' Egyptian Shabti from clay to take home with you Sail across the 'Nile'!
