Halloween came early at the TCR Hub! Friday 28th October saw a range of Halloween themed activities for children of all ages.
Throughout the morning artist Jilly Johnston created a Halloween story trail for the little witches and wizards. Accompanied by parents and carers the children followed a trail of spooky creatures around the lake area, navigating spooky treasure troves and storytelling activities.
Inside, imagination reigned with a range of art and craft activities, designed to encourage little ones to develop the functional and creative skills associated with painting, sticking, cutting, colouring and creating. And it was fun!
Children enjoy the freedom which the Hub offers; it’s open spaces; natural light and the sense of being in a centre of creativity, fun, freedom and exploration.
Mums, dads, grandparents and carers enjoyed seeing the children engrossed, fully engaged with the activities. The cafe served delicious home-made snacks, including a very tasty vegetable soup and the spooky cakes and flapjack were enjoyed by all!
