Funded Family Activities This Christmas

TCR Hub has secured funding to support families with activities this Christmas. The Holiday Activities and Food (HAWF) programme funded by the Department for Education is offering free activities over the Christmas holidays for children and young people aged 5-16 years old who are receiving benefits-related free school meals.

Multi-Sports Session
9am – 1.30pm, Saturday 18th Dec 2021

Join TCR’s Community Food Co-ordinator Rupert Philbrick & our sports coach from Education Enterprise for a fun-filled morning of team sports and ball games – and learn all about what makes your body work, and the best ways to fuel it & keep fit.

High Ropes adventure at TCR Hub
9am – 1.30pm, Monday 20th Dec 2021

Join Outdoor Activities Instructor Jonny Elliott for a High Ropes Adventure! TCR Hub’s Outdoor Activity sessions offer the perfect chance for children and young people to have great fun whilst experience a range of different activities from high ropes to the assault course, all with friendly, professional instructors.

Join Family Activities Coordinator Sarah Gent for a fun day of exploring with walking leader Rachel Tweddle, Imogen Coverdale and Kerryanne Higgens from the AONB to learn about the birds around Blackton reservoir.
