What’s on this February Half – Term?
Space Day on Sunday 18th February from 11am to 4pm.
Join us on 18th February to explore the universe at ‘TCR Space Hub’. The team at TCR Hub are working with Street Cosmos, a new initiative that brings cutting edge space science research from Durham University’s Ogden Centre to places around County Durham.
On this jam-packed day you’ll be able to create your own universe, learn about dark matter, ask questions to real scientists, immerse yourself in the Big Bang, make alien music, enjoy creative activities inspired by space – and have fun.
All ages welcome.
The Ogden Centre for Fundamental Physics is a world leading centre of research in astronomy and cosmology, regularly partnering with NASA, ESA and SETI.
Not to be missed!
Outdoor Activity Day
As part of the February half term, we are offering an exciting outdoor games and activities day.
Running from 10am – 12pm and then 1pm – 3pm, the activities will be fun and varied throughout the day, giving people the option of booking for the morning session, the afternoon session, or both. These sessions are great for confidence building, both in teamwork and being in the outdoors.
Please bring a spare change of clothes, a towel and suitable footwear for outdoor conditions. Lunch will not be included, so please bring a packed lunch too.
Recommended age: 8 years plus. Book one session for £16 and both morning and afternoon for £30.
