The Alzheimers Society  provides workshops for all those affected by Alzheimers  every  Monday from 2pm-3.30.

Activities, refreshments and support for those affected and their carers.

Clare’s Crafternoons

New Weekly Adult Craft Sessions start Tuesday 24 Sept 1-3pm

An informal social Crafter-noon with a chance to try different crafts, recycling bits and pieces from around the home. 

Week 1 - enjoy therapeutic rock painting as we chat about what the group can look forward to creating over the coming weeks. Options include wood or jar painting. Flat Decoupage. Paper crafts: cards/boxes/3D decoupage/flowers/hampers/sweetie trees.

Seasonal Fabric/Floral Wreathes. Up cycling picture frames, trays, coffee tables, jewellery boxes.


Opportunity to go to a florist warehouse and get numerous craft supplies as well as florist items. 

Cost £3 a week initially includes all materials.

There will be a break to purchase home made cakes and refreshments during the session.

Martial Arts for the over 50's

Become healthier, fitter, more flexible, brain train, have stronger joints and better back posture. There are so many health benefits for older people when they train.

Starting from Wednesday 9 October 2019, the Teesdale Health Visiting Team will be offering regular support for Parents and Children within the TCR HUB each Wednesday! For all appointments and Groups please book via your individual Health Visitor.
10.15am-11.45am Breast Feeding Group with Health Visitor Support in the Hub’s Drama Studio
12 - 3pm Tea and Tots Group, all welcome - only £3 for main carer includes unlimited tea/coffee and cake. Play activities & Resources.
1pm- 2.30pm, Well Baby Clinic. While you wait, meet up with other parents, relax with a cuppa & enjoy all the Tea & Tots fun.
Plus from 16 Oct, enjoy amazing Baby Massage Sessions at the Hub facilitated by the Health Visitor team. Parents must pre book in advance via your HV.

Dru Yoga with Val

Val Worley offers Dru Yoga classes on a Wednesday morning from 10.15am to 11.45am. Flowing Dru Yoga exercises help to stretch, strengthen, revitalise and energise the body,  and help people to relax, calm the mind and find the still point within.

The Hub Enriching Lives Music & Relaxation group

Meet 11:00am - 1:30pm on Wednesdays for an informal music session in the studios with experienced facilitators, enjoy a free light lunch and a relaxation session to finish. Suitable for anyone Age 50+ who wishes to take up an instrument, rekindle a lost talent or simply meet like minded people.

Harriet’s Interval Yoga

10.30-11.30 each Friday.

Interval yoga is an energetic and fun session where the ancient practice of yoga merges with interval and high intensity exercises. 

The sessions will smoothly incorporate a full body workout, yogic stretches and a full relaxation at the end.

Musical Theatre Group at the Hub

Guided by Jane, the children will focus on developing vocals, performance skills and of course learn some fantastic show tunes. The Musical Theatre group runs on a Friday 4-5.15pm. Book with Reception or ring 01833690150 to reserve a place.
