Oliver Twist deli’s Shona Robinson is supporting TCR Hub with the next Homemade workshop on Zoom at 5.30pm on Thursday 4th February, showing lucky families how to make her famous Rocky Road chocolate treat!
As Sarah Gent, one of TCR Hub’s Family activities Coordinators, says, “We have been delighted with how popular these sessions are with the families who are participating. Feedback has been really positive and we’re keen to continue to provide these opportunities for learning and socialising together online.
We are now seeking local chefs and caterers to work with us to continue these sessions, hopefully all the way to the Easter holidays. Thanks to Shona for providing the next session, and also for her kind donation of the ingredients!”
These sessions are £2 per family, with a sundry option of ordering all the ingredients required to make the Ricky Road for £4, including the foil tray. There are fully-funded places available for families who otherwise would not be able to access the sessions. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org for funded places, or if you are a local business who are keen to get involved!
Next up, Suzanne Wallace from The Witham will be demonstrating how to make her delicious quiche on Thursday 11th February!
