Temperatures have dropped and the lake at the TCR Hub is frozen over.
Baby, its cold outside…but inside a warm welcome awaits as the centre gets ready for the festive season and the big Christmas bash on Saturday 10th December.
During these sharp Teesdale mornings why not enjoy a trip around the stunning and fully accessible lake.
The path which circumnavigates the lake is perfect for those less mobile being wheelchair friendly, constructed of hard tarmac and with no major inclines or declines. The path allows full navigation around the lake, allowing all to enjoy the beautiful views.
The entire site was built to be fully accessible..
There is reserved parking for disabled and all public areas are without steps or other obstacles. The entrance to the centre and that to the lake have rotating doors, navigable for anyone wishing to visit alone.
So why not enjoy a visit to the stunning lake, take your time enjoying the views and warm up inside with a hot drink?
Halle does a fine hot chocolate with the full works, marshmallows, cream and a cookie for £2.50! The full menu is available here.
We also provide community transport for groups and organisations. Please phone the Hub management on 01833 690150 to find out how we can help your group to get out and about this winter.
