A Warm Welcome To Our New Charity Director, David Walker!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Walker as TCR Hub's new Charity Director, with David joining the team on 10th August 2026. David brings more than 30 years of charity leadership experience, having led national transformation programmes at Help for Heroes and supported the growth of local charities in Darlington. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for TCR Hub as we continue to grow our impact across Barnard Castle and Teesdale. Reflecting on his new role, David says: "This is a key moment in TCR's history as it continues to grow its role as a much needed and much-loved anchor for the Teesdale community. I'm delighted to be joining at this point in the charity's journey and look forward to working alongside the team, volunteers, and local partners to help strengthen the Hub's work and support the next chapter of development." David is looking forward to working with staff and volunteers to help TCR build on its many strengths, and is excited to help TCR develop services and opportunities for young people and the wider community. We are very pleased to be welcoming David to the team, and look forward to taking the next steps in TCR's journey together!
