About Us
TCR Hub Barnard Castle is a unique facility that is home to the charity Teesdale Community Resources (TCR). TCR has been delivering an extensive programme of activities to the community for over 30 years.
The TCR Hub is a community centre for the entire community and offers a huge range of activities, including:
- Youth work and activities including the Duke of Edinburgh award
- Care packages and food support
- Preventing food waste
- Creative practice
- Music and dance
- Performance
- Sports and fitness
- Education and training
- Social and cultural events and activities
- Accommodation, venue and music spaces.

Our Mission
To gather together volunteers to provide resources and opportunities for the people of Teesdale.
Our Vision
To exist in a community with good quality, affordable and attainable resources and opportunities. To run a community business with autonomous employees and volunteers, who are led by community needs and share the workload fairly across the whole team.

With a central core team of staff the centre really relies on the hard work of our volunteer team. if you would like to be involved there are details here of the types of role our volunteers take on.
